Can I begin with a course anytime?
In our timetable you can find all current courses. Advanced participants can always join a current course subject to availability (ask us about free spots anytime). Beginners can start every first working day of the month.
How can I pay?
You can pay the course fee and the admission fee cash, with an EC- card ( if it belongs to a German account) or by bank transfer. A Payment with Visa or Mastercard is also possible.
What is the amount of participants in the group courses?
Our groups consist of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 18 participants. Average group size is 10-12 students.
Are all teachers native speakers?
Of course all teachers are native speakers, besides of having a university grade and a solid teaching experience. Take a trial day free of charge in order to convince yourself of our capacity.
Do I need an appointment for a personal consultation?
No. You can always stop by during our office hours in order to get a personal answer to all your questions. Of course we are also available by email and telephone.
Of what does an inscription to a German course consist?
For a complete inscription we need the filled out and handsigned contract sheet, a copy of your passport or ID as well as the payment of course and admission fee.
Can I sign up by email?
Yes, you can send all necessary documents scanned by email. Just please have in mind that in this case confirmation documents can not be issued before 14 day past your inscription ( due to the cancellation period established by law.)
Does the school close for vacation?
Our group courses take place continuously, only after Christmas we close for 2 weeks each year.
Can I get a visa for Germany in order to participate in a German course with activ lernen?
Yes, active lernen fulfills the requirements for this purpose. A prepayment of 50 % of the course fee plus the 40 € admission fee is necessary. You will then receive the documents you need for the visa application. Should you not get the visa on time, we can always shift the course without extra charge.
